In-stock rugs for sale - or special order to match your colors!

Antique looms - a couple more than 100 years old - have been brought back to life by Historical Society volunteers. Yet this is much more than a living historical exhibit!

All of the revenue generated from the sale of these finely crafted rugs support the operations of the museum. People from all over the United States buy rugs from the Iron County Historical Society. Former Wisconsin First Lady Sue Anne Thompson purchased some of our rugs for the Governors Mansion ... and when her husband Tommy Thompson became Secretary of Health and Human Services, she special ordered new rugs to fit their Washington, DC home.

There are always a variety of rugs - large and small - as well as placemats in stock when you visit the museum. And if you'd like the perfect rug made for your home or business, consult with our volunteers to select the colors and fabrics that will make a unique keepsake for you or sombody you love.
