Total snowfall to date is 92.3 inches. Snow depth on the trails range from 6-12 inches. We received 4 inches of fresh snow overnight with snow flurries in the forecast for the next 5 days. Predicted snow accumulations on Friday & Saturday for an additional 5-7 inches. Groomers report the snowmobile trails to be in fair to VERY good Condition. Use caution on the main corridors Trail 77 from Gile to Montreal and Trail 3 from Saxon to Saxon Harbor. The best trails with VERY GOOD Riding are as follows, Trail 6&7 , Trail 15 and 15c, Trail 8 and 13 and 13c and the main corridor from Hurley to Mercer (Trail 17) is in Good Condition.
We are asking all ATV's to remain off of the trails at this time to protect the trail base!

Whitecap Mountains Ski Resort is open with 43 runs and 6 lifts in 100% operation, along with the magic carpet and bunny run. Skiers report the hills to be "fun" and "good" skiing. Reporting a 12-36 inch base with a powder, packed powder power tilled snow surface. Please check their website @ skiwhitecap.com for changing conditions.
