Costumed Figure Drawing (Adults only)

Build your draftsmanship chops and practice valuable observational skills with Costumed Figure Drawing! Absolute beginners in representational art, as well as seasoned artists are welcome to our figure drawing sessions. We will warm up with quick gestures while observing a live model- then build up to longer poses incorporating the whole spectrum of values. Sable will demonstrate various techniques, and give personalized feedback to each attendee.

This class is taught by Sable Wood, a recent Bachelor’s of Fine Art graduate who studied Illustration. Weekly figure drawing sessions were her favorite part of that education. She is a firm believer that regular practice from observation is the best way to develop skill in both realism and stylized art, and a sensitivity to the world around you.f
