ATV – UTV – Snowmobile

All Northern Iron County snowmobile and ATV trails will be closed for the season effective Monday, March 18, 2019 at 8:00 am. Gates along the trails will be closed.

The following trails are closed – 17 north of 310 road, 77, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9 north of trail 11, 13 & 15.

Mercer area trails are still in good condition at this time. Southern Iron County Trails will remain open and the status will be reassessed on Thursday. Temperatures for the weekend are forecasted to be well into the 50s.

The following trails are still open – 17 south of 310 Rd, 9 south, 10, 11, 12, 14, 19, 20 21, 23, 51 & 182.

Schomberg Park is a Park and Campground with amenities to include 14 campsites with electrical hook-ups, bathrooms, showers, dump station, ATV wash, and day use parking. Having exclusive trails access, this park and campground is nestled right next to Layman's Creek and one of the most peaceful spots in all of Iron County.
