Art History: The Dao of Chinese Painting

Let David Barnhill be your guide in exploring a fascinating facet of Chinese art history! Meeting on four Tuesday afternoons at the Mercer Public Library from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 15 to Oct. 6, Fe University’s “Art History: The Dao of Chinese Painting” will introduce you to the thousand-year history of Chinese landscape painting, and the religious views that are the foundation of the art and aesthetic ideals that developed out of them.
