Techquity Event, powered by the United Way of Wisconsin and UW Extension Iron County.

This no-cost laptop distribution event is open to those in need of a device.

Visit the Hurley Library anytime between now and May 21. Staff can assist you in accessing the registration form on your phone or using a library computer.

Laptop pickup will take place on May 22 at the Iron County Courthouse.
To be eligible for an event and to receive a device, you must:
Not own a personal computer or laptop.
Not have already received a device through the Techquity Wisconsin or a similar program.
Belong to one of these population groups:
A household with an income at or below 200% FPL
An underserved household (lacking internet service)
An under-connected household (limited access due to constraining factors like cost or provider options)
An ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) household
Have a critical need for digital access that was exacerbated by the COVID-19 public health emergency, related to work/education/health.
Be over the age of 13
